Our founder and inventor, MJ, is a fervent traveler who loves to collect stuffed animals and bags wherever she goes. Her growing collection has led to her search of a temporary solution for her space dilemma. This evolved into uncovering a grander, shared problem - one that she sought a solution to that became MaryJean.

MJ’s goal for Mary Jean toys is not just to make money, but to enrich the lives of families and share the blessings she has been fortunate enough to receive. She knows just how much the little treasures in life matter to children, particularly children who grow up without much. Her family comes from simple beginnings in the Philippines, working hard and making ends meet by stretching their limited resources to the limit.
Together, we want to pass on the joys that we’ve found in our own lives. Mary Jean toys are inexpensive, but excellent at creating happiness. Through these toys, you not only brighten the day of your child, but create a ripple effect that can and will lead to more goodness in the future.
A portion of each purchase goes towards a fund dedicated to helping less fortunate children. We use this fund to fill a bag for these children, including pajamas, crayons, books, cookies, chocolates, fruit, and more. These specially chosen gifts bring so much light into underprivileged children’s lives, and so your simple gift continues to spread happiness and joy. Ultimately, that’s what Mary Jean is all about- giving back to the world and sharing the blessings we have.
